Project
A Python Developer role, responsible for developing and maintaining the core framework used for data integration and the calculation of market and counterparty risk metrics.
The position is part of a global team operating in a Scaled Agile environment, working closely with international teams in a multicultural setting. The role combines software development, application performance optimization and innovation, contributing to initiatives focused on process automation, artificial intelligence, development practices and knowledge sharing.
Role
- Design, develop and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Python solutions
- Contribute to the development of the core framework supporting risk data integration and risk metric calculations
- Rapidly prototype solutions to validate new concepts and approaches
- Identify application bottlenecks, defects and performance issues
- Design and implement solutions to improve application stability and efficiency
- Ensure application performance, quality and responsiveness
- Deliver incremental enhancements aligned with evolving business requirements
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to implementation and testing
- Contribute to innovation initiatives around automation, artificial intelligence and development practices
- Support continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing activities across teams
We are looking for
- Professional experience in Python development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Good understanding of functional programming paradigms
- Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem
- Knowledge of Python architectural patterns and development best practices
- Experience with SQL
- Experience working with relational databases
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with integration testing
- Experience with end-to-end testing
- Understanding of scalable application design principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in Agile environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively within international and multicultural teams
- Interest in innovation, automation and continuous improvement
- Good communication and teamwork skills
