Project
This role is responsible for supporting and evolving the organization's data ecosystem, with a strong focus on Data Engineering, SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO), database management, and release processes. The position involves designing and maintaining data structures and pipelines, managing data migrations, automating release activities, and ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of data platforms. The successful candidate will work across multiple data-related initiatives, contributing to analytics platform modernization, governance, and integration projects while providing technical expertise and support to both business and IT stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create and enhance SAP BO Universes, ensuring consistency, performance, and alignment with business requirements.
- Implement user groups and security restrictions within SAP BO, ensuring proper governance and access control.
- Perform SAP BO version upgrades and universe migrations.
- Design and maintain high-performance data pipelines, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Automate the end-to-end release process for data artefacts across different environments.
- Ensure accurate migration of data and artefacts, maintaining integrity and operational continuity.
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, data pipelines, SAP BO universes, and supporting infrastructure.
- Support business and IT teams on topics related to data, reporting, and system integrations.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives and best practices for managing analytical platforms.
Requirements
- Mandatory knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO).
- Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Experience with analytics and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Dataiku.
- Proven ability to design data pipelines and manage data migration processes.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related field.
- Experience with digital product deployments and third-party data governance is considered an advantage.
- English: Fluent
- French: Working Proficiency
