Project
A Data Engineer / ETL Developer role focused on the design, development and optimization of data integration processes, data models and database solutions. The mission combines ETL development, data modelling, database optimization and analytical support, ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable and high-performance data solutions.
The role requires strong expertise in relational databases, SQL and PL/SQL development, contributing to the implementation of data integration processes, troubleshooting complex issues and supporting Agile delivery teams through modern engineering practices.
Role
- Design, develop and maintain ETL processes and data integration workflows
- Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle technologies
- Create and maintain SQL and PL/SQL developments
- Design and support relational and multidimensional data models
- Analyze and optimize database performance and query execution
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on data-related issues
- Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across systems
- Participate in the analysis, design and implementation of data solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and deliver requirements
- Apply software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to Continuous Delivery and quality assurance practices
- Develop and execute tests following TDD and BDD approaches
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery processes
- Promote continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team
- Contribute to the evolution of data platforms and integration capabilities
We are looking for
- Experience in similar Data Engineering, ETL Development or Database Development roles
- Strong knowledge of relational databases
- Advanced experience with Oracle Database 12c or later versions
- Experience developing ETL processes
- Experience with ODI (valued)
- Advanced SQL knowledge
- Experience with CRUD operations
- Strong understanding of data models and data structures
- Knowledge of transactional database concepts
- Experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization
- Strong PL/SQL knowledge
- Experience designing and developing database procedures, packages and functions
- Strong knowledge of multidimensional modelling concepts
- Strong data analysis capabilities
- Experience troubleshooting complex database and data integration issues
- Experience working in Scrum environments
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
