Project
This role is part of the WM APS team, responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of Wealth Management applications through L1/L2 support, incident management, service request handling, and participation in critical activities such as Disaster Recovery (DR) and Live Play exercises. The professional will play a key role in operations automation, legacy application containerization, continuous service improvement, and support activities delivered through shift-based and on-call rotations. The position requires strong expertise in banking operations, advanced troubleshooting, and technologies such as Linux, PL/SQL, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible, within a demanding environment focused on stability, performance, automation, and collaboration with global teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
- Drive the containerization of legacy applications, improving modernization efforts and operational efficiency.
- Provision, configure, and deploy solutions across critical environments, including Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.
- Act as a key contributor to incident management, service request handling, and APS support operations.
- Participate in shift schedules and on-call rotations, ensuring timely response to incidents and operational issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and application stability.
- Participate in DR/Live Play exercises, ensuring operational readiness and resilience.
- Train and support other operations profiles in Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Support the evolution of automation, monitoring, and observability practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux and advanced command-line (CLI) usage.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
- Good understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, particularly Dynatrace.
- Experience in banking environments is considered a strong advantage.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud providers (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- 2+ years of practical experience with Ansible and Docker.
- Strong critical-thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.

- Proactive mindset, persistence, and a strong can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
