Project

Role integrated into the WM APS team, responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of Wealth Management applications, providing L1/L2 support, incident management, service requests, and participation in critical activities such as DR / Live Play.

The professional will play a central role in operations automation, log analysis, monitoring, continuous improvement, and support in shift and on‑call rotations.

The position requires strong knowledge of banking operations, advanced troubleshooting skills, and expertise in technologies such as Linux, PL‑SQL, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.

Work performed in a demanding environment focused on stability, performance, automation, and collaboration with global teams.

Responsabilities

• Provide production support for client applications and tools.
• Analyze system, middleware, and application logs, identifying potential issues.
• Perform service monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and availability.
• Participate in shifts, on‑call rotations, weekends, and public holidays, ensuring 24/7 support coverage.
• Contribute to DR / Live Play activities, ensuring operational readiness.
• Create, review, and maintain Application Support knowledge articles.
• Validate knowledge‑transfer sessions conducted by development teams.

Automation & Infrastructure

• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
• Work on containerizing legacy applications, ensuring modernization and operational efficiency.
• Train and support other operations profiles in Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Direct Responsibilities

• Escalate risks, critical incidents, and management topics to the divisional lead.
• Meet SLA targets for incidents and service requests.
• Actively contribute to platform stability and stakeholder communication.

Contributory Responsibilities

• Risk Mitigation: ensure production‑readiness checks, robust monitoring, and strict compliance.
• Customer Confidence: guarantee high‑availability services and transparent communication with Wealth Management business stakeholders.
• Operational Efficiency: reduce MTTD and MTTR through automation and continuous improvement.
• Team Collaboration: work closely with development teams and global APS teams to maintain a stable production platform.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux, CLI, and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash.
• Good understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse).
• Expertise in Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with cloud providers: IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Experience with observability tools (Dynatrace).
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with cloud providers (IBM/AWS/Azure/Google).
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Ansible/Docker.
• English – Expert level

• RH294 – Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible
• CKAD – Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
• DO374 – Developing Advanced Automation with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate (003)
